Steps to Ship Liquids in the Food Industry:
Step 1: Seal Your Liquid
- Ensure secure sealing within its container
- Prevent leaks by wrapping additional plastic around caps or openings
Step 2: Package the Liquid Properly
- Use waterproof containers for small amounts
- Consider IBC totes for industrial liquids or large volumes
Perishable vs. Non-Perishable Liquids
- Proper protection and temperature regulation for perishables
- Use glass containers with inner waterproof containers for non-perishables
Step 3: Label All Packages
- Clearly mark “LIQUIDS” on the outside of each package
Step 4: Choose Your Carrier
